Excelentes Tiempos, porque somos capaces de luchar, seguir luchando, para vencer, con Optimismo, una cualidad que nos conocemos y que nos identifica a los Revolucionarios; una cualidad que tanto destacaba el Comandante Fidel… Optimismo ! Aquí vive Fidel, en su Pueblo y en nuestros Pueblos, y en esta América Nuestra, de Soles Ardientes, de Almas Intensas, de Seres Humanos Valientes, que vibramos en los esplendores de nuestros más elevados Ideales, Sentimientos y Luchas por la Justicia, por las Verdades Verdaderas, por la Paz que exige, que reclama, Dignidad.
Derechos Humanos Esenciales, nunca artificiales y nunca fabricados para agredir a los Pueblos, que combaten, que combatimos, precisamente por nuestros Derechos, y somos capaces de seguir dando la Vida, para que vibre la Humanidad en la frecuencia de la Paz Suprema, Paz Suprema y Sublime, que está hecha de Respeto, y Fuerza de Batallas formidables por esa Vida con Bienestar, que tanto merecemos. Agosto, como todos los Meses en esta Nicaragua Honrosa, Victoriosa, Gloriosa, nos celebra a tod@s con Tomás, Guerrero de todas las Batallas… Con Fidel, por supuesto, que nos enseñó y nos dio tanto… Con la incomparable y ejemplar Lucha por la Alfabetización… Por la Gesta Extraordinaria del Palacio Nacional. Irrepetible Gesta, del Palacio Nacional, con Edén y tantos Compañeros Heroicos al frente, Gente que ni se vende, ni se rinde, Jamás ! Excepto unos cuantos, que ni merecen ser recordados como parte de esa Genial y Triunfal Acción, que mostró el Temple del Pueblo nicaragüense, la audacia, la capacidad de Lucha, entre todas las tormentas, entre todas las rayerías.
Tomás, Guerrero de todas las Batallas… Edén, Guerrero de todas las Batallas… Y la incomparable y ejemplar Lucha que libramos en todo momento, para seguir avanzando, del Triunfo de la Revolución al Palacio, a la Alfabetización, donde supimos mostrar esa Determinación Inclaudicable de Luchar y Vencer. De Pancasán, de tanta Fuente, Orígenes nuestros, Ánimas Benditas, Fuerzas Invictas en todas las Batallas. Y todo eso en Agosto, cuando, con la Bendición y de la Mano de Dios Nuestro Señor, seguimos construyendo el Porvenir; seguimos, como Hij@s de ese Padre Celestial, como Cristian@s, Socialistas y Solidari@s, Adelante, en Victorias, construyendo el Porvenir de Vida, de Esperanzas y Certezas, desde nuestra inclaudicable, repito la palabra, Condición Humana. Here we are, a Great People, a Great Patriotic Nation. With extraordinary, revolutionary emotion, and the pride of sharing the great ideological and human heritage of Comandante Fidel, we are from Nicaragua, Forever Blessed, Always Heroic and Free, celebrating 100 Years of majestic courage and incomparable rigor, in the sense of the rebellious and permanent Resistance to all attempts at continuing to usurping our Sovereignty and Dignity. On the Avenue From Bolívar to Chávez is the towering figure of Comandante Fidel, and he is there making his way with the Peoples of Our America-Caribbean and those Heroic Struggles that we wage, because every day we certify and ratify that here, in these Sacred Lands of Indian, Mestizo, Afro-Descendant America, live incomparable visionaries who, like Fidel, each one in their Time, came forging this History, that History, this Glorious Memory and that Memory which we live today. With Fidel, great and imposing, our Heroes and our Martyrs vibrate.
There, on that Avenue and throughout our Nicaragua, Sandino carves out our Common Destiny… «The sovereignty of a people is not disputed.”.. but defended with intelligence, serenity, sobriety, wisdom, permanent determination and conviction of a Free Patriotic Nation or Death. Nicaraguan Youth pays tribute to Fidel and, of course, on these August dates we pay tribute to our Tomás, founder of the Sandinista Front, with Carlos… We pay tribute to his audacity, his mystique and his invincible ability to speak from the Heart, Revolutionary and Evolutionary, facing up to the thugs, facing up to his tormentors, warning them that “our dead are the dead who never die”. We are also approaching the 46th Anniversary of the conclusion of our People’s exemplary and brilliant Literacy Campaign. When we came to govern, when the Heroic People of Sandino, Zeledón, Andrés, Nicaragua, Carlos triumphed, in just 5 months we managed to reduce illiteracy to 12.96%, being recognized and awarded, for that phenomenal feat, by UNESCO at that time.
And Pancasan, of course… Let us go to the 59 Years of Heroic Pancasán, and as we said yesterday, on the 29th we will be in Pancasán itself, telling each other and telling the Heroes of Pancasán: Let’s listen to the People in Struggle, for whom Pancasán is an inspiration, it is the Strength of that Struggle and of that People who continue to fight against Poverty, and for Peace. We bid farewell this morning, today, to the Delegation of the Heroic and Admirable People of Vietnam, who culminated their visit to the Heroic Nicaraguan People; the People of Ho Chi Min with the People of Zeledón, Andrés, Sandino, General of Free Men and Women. In the Tribute that we pay, tomorrow afternoon, to the Glorious Sandinista Navy, as it was called, founded on August 13th 1980, the Naval Force tomorrow will be receiving the Honors of our People in the presence of our Co-President, Commander Daniel. The Naval Force stands out for its significant contribution to the defense of our Sovereignty, fulfilling its Missions of Protection, Control and Surveillance of our Seas and Inland Waters.
The Co-Presidency of the Republic; the National Assembly in the person of its President, Dr. Gustavo Porras; the Supreme High Command of the Nicaraguan Army; the General Command of the Nicaraguan Army, and many other Authorities, will be participating. There will also be, of course, the Military Council; Authorities of Institutions of our Government; Personnel of the Naval Force; Military Attachés and Heads of Military Missions accredited in our Country; Retired Officers of the Naval Force; Relatives of Heroes, of Compañeros and Compañeras fallen in the line of Duty, and relatives of active Personnel of the Naval Force. In the Commemoration Ceremony, our Comandante Daniel and Army General Julio César Avilés Castillo, will be presenting Decorations and Badges to the outstanding Personnel of our Naval Force.
Congratulations to all the Brothers and Sisters of our Heroic Naval Force on its 46th Anniversary, and our fraternal Greetings go to their beloved relatives. In this Act of Homage to our Naval Force, we will also be paying Honor and Glory as we commit ourselves to paths of Victories with the Leader of our American and Caribbean Revolutions, Comandante Fidel. To the vandals who ignorant of Love, and even more so of Love for their Nation, who are ignorant of Love in any of its forms, who know only terrorism and vandalism, who make up things people never said, who falsely claim to have what they do not have, who pretend to be representatives of a great and dignified People who want nothing to do with them and who reject the clumsy, evil pretensions people who have long been stateless. To the vandals, traitors and cowards ignorant of Love for Nicaragua, as always, we ask only that God may forgive their ignorance, and give them the strength to recognize they are no one, nothing, much less being able to dream up crimes against a Peaceful People who deserve the best.
For this Nicaragua they betrayed, they are nothing and no one. The dictatorship of their quisling terrorism will never return! They know that. Let them know it perfectly well.
The words of a Nicaraguan who recognizes the vibrant God who gives us the strength to strive, to keep on striving, and to keep overcoming, and to leave behind the ignominy of poverty that they imposed on us, so as to devour us or dominate us better.
